Patent is one of the most effective Intellectual Property that helps achieve economic development and enables technical advancement. With an ever increasing focus of Indian Pharmaceutical Companies in the US Market, the number of Patent Applications filed by Indian entities are growing significantly year on year, be it for novel processes, new formulations/compositions, API related patent applications, and/or for novel compounds. There is therefore an imperative need for Patent Counsels, Attorneys, and Innovators to understand the latest nuances of Patent Prosecution and Preparation in the US. In sum, besides understanding Patent Laws and Practices prevalent in India, we also need to understand practices in economically and financially important geographies such as in the United States.
In order to contribute on the above agenda, Nexsen Pruet and Khurana and Khurana (K&K) are holding a Joint Webinar to demystify various aspects of patent prosecution strategies in the United States for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Biosimilar oriented applications including practices that Applicants may adopt for comprehensive protection and enforcement.
