Shroud Locking Mechanism in Switching Device

Invention relates to a locking device for locking of cover/shroud of electrical switch that provides total safety to operator and apparent indication of locking. The locking device comprises of shroud adapted to cover switch body and secure other current carrying parts, latching elements, means adapted to actuate the latching elements, guide means erected between shrouds to provide guided motion to the latching elements and means adapted for operative disposition of the latching elements inside thereby locking the shroud.
