Govindh is a Principal Associate at IIPRD and Khurana & Khurana. Govindh has over 20 years of experience in patent matters relating to technologies in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food chemistry, and biomedical devices. Govindh has extensive experience in patent searches, preparation of landscape reports, competitor-intelligence studies, patent drafting, and worldwide prosecution of patent applications. Govindh regularly drafts responses to FERs and advises on patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions, patent due diligence, patent ranking and valuation, and product-portfolio management. Govindh has previously worked with various patent search firms and legal process outsourcing organisations. Govindh holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and an LL.B. from Karnataka State Law University. Govindh is also a registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent and Trademarks Office.
