Antony is a registered Indian patent agent with over 22 years of experience in patent matters in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and life-sciences. Antony has extensive experience in the full range of patent services, including patent specification drafting, worldwide patent prosecution and opposition, patentability assessment, infringement analysis, and freedom-to-operate investigations. Antony has previously worked as in-house patent professional in research based pharmaceutical and chemical companies, including Neuland Laboratories and Shasun Pharmaceuticals. Before entering the patent field, Antony gained hands-on experience in pharmaceutical research and development, particularly in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic molecules and active pharmaceutical ingredients, while working with Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Ltd. Antony holds a post-graduated degree in Chemistry from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu. Antony is a certified Patent Agent with Indian Patent Office and also holds PG Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
