Snigdha is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Department at IIPRD and Khurana & Khurana. Snigdha graduated from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, in 2018 and is a gold medallist in Property Law and Family Law. Since graduation, Snigdha has focused on diverse areas of litigation including pre-litigation advisory, strategy, drafting of legal correspondences, and filing and handling matters relating to Show Cause Notices under the Black Money Act, 2015 and prosecution under the Income Tax Act, 1961; summons under the Customs Act, 1962 relating to gold and NDPS transactions; quashing of First Information Reports; Writ Petitions; Appeals; Anticipatory Bail and regular bail applications; matrimonial disputes; and other commercial proceedings. Snigdha has extensive experience in handling matters before the Supreme Court of India, including Special Leave Petitions and Civil Appeals, and also has substantial experience in disputes arising under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Snigdha has presided as a panellist at the 9th Intra Moot Court Competition at DSNLU, Visakhapatnam, and has headed the drafting of the moot proposition for the 1st IILM National Moot Court Competition 2022 organised by IILM Law School, Gurugram. Snigdha has also authored papers titled “Economic Implications of National Food Security Act, 2013 and its International Trade Impacts” and “Gender Justice: Victimization without a Cause.” Over a period of more than 7 years, Snigdha has honed skills across civil, commercial, and arbitration disputes and is known for diligence and sincerity. Alongside professional work, Snigdha continues to pursue a passion for human rights issues, including matters relating to public interest litigation and domestic disputes.
