Garima is a Senior Associate at Khurana Khurana. She has almost 5 years of experience in Patent prosecution and drafting with domain expertise in Chemicals, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmaceuticals. She holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard. She is also a Registered Patent Agent (India). She has experience of more than three years in research and development from Jubilant Chemsys. Later she received ‘Women Scientist C fellowship’ (WOS-C/TIFAC’s 9th Batch), where she did her internship at Remfry and Sagar. She is well versed in prosecution of patent applications related to various technical domains (Pharma, Chemistry, Polymer science and Biotechnology). Her practice includes detailed analysis of the objections raised in the First Examination Report, preparing and filing responses to official actions based on inputs received from clients, attending hearings before the Controller and responding to client queries on various aspects related to Indian Patent law and practice. She is also involved in preparing and filing responses to office actions issued by foreign patent offices. Prior to joining the team of Khurana & Khurana, she worked with Remfry and Sagar (Gurugram) for almost 5 years.
