Smita is a Principal Associate at IIPRD and Khurana & Khurana, and has been working in the field of patents and intellectual property rights for over 10 years. Smita graduated from Birla Institute of Technology with a BBA degree and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Sinhgad Institute of Management, Pune. Smita is experienced in providing legal opinions and legal services relating to intellectual property rights, primarily involving patent applications (domestic, national phase, convention, patent of addition, and divisional), assignments, PCT applications, start-up and small-entity related filings, foreign filing licences, and other associated matters. Smita is also familiar with filing patent applications before the USPTO and the EPO.
