Garima is a Principal Associate at IIPRD and Khurana & Khurana. Garima has over 8 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution, with domain expertise in chemicals, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. Garima holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard and is a Registered Patent Agent (India). Garima has over three years of prior experience in research and development at Jubilant Chemsys and later received the “Women Scientist C Fellowship (WOS-C/TIFAC, 9th Batch)”, during which Garima completed her internship at Remfry & Sagar. Garima is well-versed in the prosecution of patent applications across technical fields including pharmaceuticals, chemistry, polymer science, and biotechnology. Garima’s practice includes detailed analysis of objections raised in First Examination Reports, preparing and filing responses to official actions based on inputs received from clients, attending hearings before the Controller, and responding to client queries on various aspects of Indian patent law and practice. Garima is also involved in preparing and filing responses to office actions issued by foreign patent offices. Prior to joining Khurana & Khurana, Garima worked with Remfry & Sagar, Gurugram, for almost five years.
