Ujjwala is an Associate Partner and Patent Lawyer at IIPRD and Khurana & Khurana. Ujjwala is a former Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs and has worked with the Indian Patent Office, Government of India, for over 14 years. Thereafter, Ujjwala was associated with an esteemed intellectual property firm as Head of Office and Senior Patent Attorney at the Mumbai branch. During her tenure at the Patent Office and in private practice, Ujjwala has handled patent applications and litigation matters in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biological sciences. Ujjwala holds a Ph.D. in Life Sciences and has completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Public Health Research Institute, New Jersey, USA. In addition, Ujjwala holds an LL.B. degree from the University of Mumbai.
