Nishank has over 3 years of experience in litigation, with core expertise in Real Estate Litigation, with a specialisation in RERA, along with proficiency in Commercial Litigation, Insurance Disputes, Industrial and Consumer Disputes, Civil Litigation, Family Disputes, Aviation Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, MSME Claims, and Arbitration. With a strong background in Civil Litigation, Nishank has appeared in diverse matters before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and various Consumer Commissions in cases involving service deficiencies and product defects. Nishank has represented clients before forums ranging from the City Civil Court and Metropolitan Magistrate Courts, invoking and defending on behalf of both corporates and individuals, to the National Company Law Tribunal, and has also appeared in writ matters before the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India. In the current role, Nishank leads the Litigation practice at the Mumbai office and excels in drafting a wide range of agreements and legal documents, including Leases, Licences, Memoranda of Understanding, Family-Settlement Agreements, Powers of Attorney, Wills, and Gift Deeds. Nishank also assists in document vetting, legal research, preparation of arguments, and responses to legal notices, and focuses on developing effective litigation strategies and providing sound advice to best protect client interests.
