Shabana is a Principal Associate and a Registered Patent Agent at IIPRD and Khurana & Khurana. Shabana has over 4 years of experience in the service industry and over 8 years of experience in the domain of patent docketing. Shabana is responsible for docketing incoming patent-related communication received from Indian and foreign clients, the Patent Offices, and foreign agents, and routing such communication to the appropriate attorney and/or paralegal for action. Shabana also monitors and de-dockets all outgoing patent-related communication directed to the Indian Patent Office (IPO), WIPO, and the PCT; identifies, assesses, and resolves issues and problems relating to patents from the Indian Patent Office and clients; and advises and assists attorneys and patent facilitators on patent-related legal matters. Shabana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Mathematics) and Law, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
